Known for being the leader in data storage solutions, EMC has expanded its product offerings to include information security, virtualization, and cloud computing. The software development and user experience teams at EMC work within an agile framework to promote collaboration and shared ownership of interface design tasks.

For over two years, I was a Principal Interaction Designer in the Advanced Storage Division, where my responsibilities included wireframe design, usability studies, and UX presentations to executive stakeholders. I was the lead UX designer for Unified Infrastructure Manger (UIM) and also worked with the Data Protection Advisor and ViPR product teams. These web-based applications give IT professionals the ability to discover, provision, and monitor their storage and network resources. In addition to my product work, I coordinated usability summits between the UX organizations of EMC and VMware, and was also a member of the mobile style guide team responsible for creating corporate-wide iOS design guidelines.
