Usable design helps financial advisors work more efficiently with their book of business

Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services may be best known for their regional banking franchise, but their acquisition of ADVISORport has made them a leading asset management and processing business. The ADVISORport web application enables financial advisors to more efficiently manage their client portfolios by allowing them to blend investment models, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds within a single custodial account.

PNC asked Human Factors International to redesign ADVISORport and I was the Project Director for the engagement. My responsibilities included workflow analysis, usability test facilitation, and user interface design.
